I just moved from SCarolina to N Ohio about 25 miles from lake Erie. Anyway I stopped by a yard sale because wifey poo wanted to, and I ended up buying a Bayliner 21 ft deep V, Volvo 4cyl inboard with a 9'9 kicker. The guy was moving out west and I got it dirty cheap. I paid more for my little john boat. I'm gonna go test her out today at Marblehead. It's completely set up for lake Erie and ready to fish, 2 sonars, 8 pole holders, gps, 2 new downriggers, all safety eq. I was planning on buying something next year, but I got this so cheap I could not pass it up. Right place at the right time I guess, I paid about 1/5th of what the boat is worth and then he threw in a ton of extras.

Great buy. I have an old 16' Glastron speed boat that I am doing a restore on. Once I am done I am selling it to buy a flat bottom for the river.

Yeah, something like that.....

I like mine. I just strap it down in the back of the truck, no trailer to fuck with. Unfortunately, my motor needs a tune up and I've been too lazy this summer, so I haven't even taken it on the water this season, and I'm 5 minutes from a boat ramp on the river :L

I just sold my John before the move. 17ft bass tracker with a 30hp mariner. Great boat for rivers and small water. This new boat is a little underpowered but man I am happy with it. Lake Erie will be my new home. I'm not sure where to put my mailbox tho, maybe C can.

Living in Ft. Lauderdale I had a Pursuit 31 ft. center console for 5 years... had a great time diving, fishing, and took 2-3 trips per year to Bimini or the Keys...

Had a home on the intracoastal and running to dinner at Houston's or Shooters was cool to...

But I have to admit.. the day I sold it was special too! Cost a fortune....I could have rented and saved money.

Well mine's an 18.5 footer and I would love to have a 21 ft. boat. When you start talking about 23 ft. and up, you're getting into some BIG boats. I love the Seahunt and the Yamaha though. I've had it for 3 years now and have had only 1 problem and my local Seahunt dealer took care of that free of charge.

I would have loved to have had a Pioneer, but it was a little too rich for my blood. Pioneer is a combo between Key West and Scout. At least that's where the owners came from. One from Scout and one from Key West. They make a nice boat with top notch fit and trim which is where Seahunt kind of falls behind. I would recommend staying at 21 and under unless you're absolutely sure you want something bigger. That's a LOT of boat and motor.
