I played with a good 'ol Sher-wood. 5030 Paul Coffey style stick. Can't imagine any of them cost the same anymore!

Yup, the Sher-wood 5030 is a classic and I played with it as well. I currently have a GRAF wood stick that has a banana blade (not sure if the curve is legal, but I don't care either).

Just don't try to use it in the old timers game, McSorley...;)

started with Titan hockey sticks, because that's what Gretzky used, and they were always on sale at Canadian Tire.
Then i got one of the Easton Aluminum sticks, and I still have it 20 years later. that thing is indestructible. i don't use it unless a few others break first, because it has zero flex, but it's still in the garage.

now I use the Sher-wood composites that they sell at Costo.

edit... roll down memory lane.

I use the (Nike)Bauer Vapor XX hockey stick (along with the same gloves too). When I first started playing, I used an all-wood Sher-Wood and an all-wood Koho (that black and yellow one that they used Jagr to promote I believe).

I'm a huge Bauer fan though. When I was in high school, I really liked to use the Louisville "Red Light" sticks for some reason.....now I'm all Bauer (even though I hate Nike.....go figure).

EDIT: Oh yeah and 90 Flex. I'm more of a set up guy myself ;-)

Only one I've ever used is a joystick.

I can't even skate. I'm a failure as a hockey fan! :(

Jofa paul Coffey.

I went through about a dozen a season. I never transitioned from wood because I broke so many and was a stay at home type. I did have two 30 goal seasons with them though. I figured That if I was going to break so many, better a 25 dollar stick than a 200 dollar one.

Edit: actually it may have been a Sherwood.........

I can't remember. I know I got them from hockeymonkey.

Everything else I used in both ice and roller was mission. I was all Bauer until I bough my first pair of mission pro VSI roller blades and after That I switched everything and left Bauer in the dust.

Anything but these new composite sticks that explode when you do anything. Shit, if I want to slash someone I want them to feel it not have my damn stick explode !!!! Screw that.
