There is a gang of cats who showed up like Pigmeat Terry who recorded a record maybe two then back into the shadows from which they came. These are the artists who fascinate me the most, what happened to them, yep....nobody knows.

While Freezone will always be the most mysterious of all, try just one side and nobody even knows his real name, Gets no more mysterious than that.

But.....when it comes to the best of the obscure, the best of the one record wonders, here is "Da Man", he walked into Sun Records in Memphis in 1953 sang two songs and.....poof!!!!....never to be heard of again.

As we can see what a shame this guy only left us one record, it just ain't right.

Love this...

So good it hurts.

The one and only Freezone, how he snuck into a recording studio recorded "Indian Squaw Blues" is one of bluesdoms great mysteries. There is nobody who remembers anything about him.

A must listen and a very rare situation......female piano player.

The great Son House and his buddy Willie Brown doing the cutting up.

In his classic "Crossroad Blues" Robert Johnson's friend boy, that Willie Brown.
