Cart wheels for White. Irv Smith makes me a bit nervous in the second.

For some reason - White reminds me of a guy like Vernon Davis (TE) - who had all the measurables to be Gronk - and wasn't. Davis is not a bad TE - he just wasn't able to live up to his workout hype. I look at the stuff on tape for White and Bush - and conclude Bush is actually a better football player. Therefore I would not be in favor of drafting White at the 10 spot.

Don't know anything about the other guy - Smith.

Mingo, I’m with you - at one point I was on the White bandwagon, but I get concerned when someone’s goal is to become the highest paid player in the NFL. And that would take some doing for a LB! . It reeks of personal ambition rather than a team focused player. My guess is that he may become really good, but may also become a headache to whatever team drafts him.

Maybe that’s trying to analyze a player without ever talking to him - but that’s the position we are in, right?

he's a first round pick, so he's going to be here for 5 years. At that point, Von is gone. If he is truly the best ILB'er in the NFL, I have no problems paying for him. Not a red flag.

For those of you red flagging him because of a comment made about his goal to become the best and highest paid player at his position in the NFL.

Don’t ignore the fact that this guy did not send out his bowl game because he didn’t want to let his fans, teammates a nd coaches down who were depending on him when he could have easily sat out like the majority of sure first round prospects.

Devin white works very hard, has great work ethic on and off the field. No red flags to me! Go get it Devin!! His goal is simply to be one of the best players in the league and he works hard at it.

I love it. White is my realistic target at 10 and I would love to grab Irv if he fell to us in the 2nd. He may end up sneaking into the 1st round, though.
