At 10 select: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
At 41 select: Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma

(Both likely to go before the Broncos picks, but in the draft world you never know)

Thoughts?

Haskins, supposedly, has been slipping, but I still expect him to be selected before 10. Brown, at least to me is a first rounder, but size and injury could cause him to slip into second round. Of the first three scenarios, this one seems the least likely to me...

If the Broncos go with a QB early - I'll take Haskins for that role.

I really don't think the Broncos will need a day two WR - nothing against Brown.

I think we would be a pretty ideal situation for a guy without a lot of experience, but upside. He would get to sit for awhile and not be thrown in immediately.

I don’t see WR as a top need, compared to QB, ILB, DT, OG/C, or CB - but we do have a need there. Brown would be the Sanders replacement and to me even an upgrade. Would be a case of BPA. I wouldn’t be unhappy.

Hollywood will be the best wr in this draft. This is an A for me on him alone.

This team needs to caffeinate the offense. I like it not sure Flacco would

I agree with DC - K'Neal Harry would be my top WR get. He is a unique athlete for the position - and a very hard guy to tackle.

Well 0k - as long as you're not unhappy - I'll feel reassured. ;)

I know I'm a simpleton to think this, but the Broncos only need a QB who can throw over 8 in the box -when the defense starts to cheat to stop the Broncos run threat. For that need - alone - Flacco will earn his keep.

I dont see Haskins slipping to ten. I dont know that much about Brown. Ive been working a shit ton lately, is he a speed guy? A slot reciever?

Very small, 5’ 9 1/2”, 166 pounds. Maybe plays fastest on the field of any WR. If he catches ball over a safety, no one is catching him. Would match up well with Sutton being the big receiver. Cousin of Antonio Brown.

Not crazy about Haskins but I wouldn't be disappointed if we land him at 10. That is, assuming Oliver is off the board. I LOVE Brown. Dynamic player that I see making quite the early impact.

Everything I think has been said. Not crazy about Haskins, but if he falls to 10, I don't think I would mind the pick. Brown in the 2nd is great value.

Well then wouldn’t you want a speedster like Brown to help do that?

If he “falls” then that would suggest he was a top 5-6 player. Hard to say no to a top player at the greatest position of need.

You realize - you are asking a simpleton - right?

It would help to have a speedster stretch the field, but it won't be determinative in solving the 8 in the box problem.
