I like McBride at 64. I don't like him where a lot of mocks have him which is early 2nd. I think he is a good TE I don't think he will be a "great" TE like many think. Andersen is fine but he is pretty much a clone of what we already have. Too early on Thomas.

Overall, I am "meh" with this draft as Steve would say.

With roster balance as a consideration - I wouldn't take a S in the 3rd round for the Broncos. One of the things drafting later in the draft allows a team to do is fill roster needs with the salary cap in mind. This is because it is not a BPA situation - it is a situation where there is a tier of guys at say pick 64. Depending on where the team is at on a contract cycle - or how much veteran talent costs for a certain position - you pick the guy in that tier that helps you develop a player at a premium position for low dollars. The Broncos already have about 5 guys for a lock on the safety jobs right now.

I do like Anderson - 2nd to Muma so I'm happy with him.

For me to take a S in the first two days it has to be significant value.

I like Sterns and I although I feel like I am the only Jamar Johnson believer in Bronco Nation I know he is a hit or miss this year but I am still confident he will grow a lot in year two.

That being said.. I would much rather take Smoke Monday on Day 3 then anything less then great value on day 1 or 2. I am not convinced Smoke Monday won't jump up to round 3 either.

I'm good with McBride there, doubt he drops that far. I saw a mock today that had us take him there.
I think the other two picks are likely reaches for us, especially if we stick by bpa.
