Round 1- Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
Round 2- Kenny Clark, DL, UCLA

Bit of a curveball here in the first. (Something different) Coleman's explosion and YAC intrigues me, not that I think we go WR round 1, but it is a position we could go BPA at anytime as well. To me he is the 2nd best WR in this draft behind yours truly Leonte Carroo, but the separation between the top WR's after Carroo of course isn't HUGE. I still like Shep and Boyd in the 2nd or if we wait on WR Addison or Lawler in round 4.

Clark really did not excite me when he was targeted late round 1, but I would take him in round 2. Good motor. Won't be an elite DL IMO, but could be a decent DL who would be good value in late round 2.

No. Very few scenarios would make me do that. I do feel i have a good grasp on the draft and prospects, but I trust elway and co. However this draft would make me sad... beacuse it would mean sanders is for sure gone.

Nkemdiche
Cook
Whitehair

I am with you on Nkemdiche. Cook is one I am torn on. There is probably no other coaching staff in the NFL that I would trust more to build up a QB than the combo of Kubiak/Knapp/Dennison. Throw in I am guessing Elway if we were to take a QB in the 1st will be much more hands on with this prospect in helping them develop. So if they like Cook I can get on board with that decision and seeing what they could develop. I still would rather have Lynch or Hackenberg in the 1st than that of Cook.

Whitehair to me would be fine. He would be a boring pick but he fits a need of being able to play pretty much 4 positions on the OL and be pretty sound. He just doesn't have the high ceiling that some of the others have.

For me my 3 would be...

Nkemdiche
T.J Green--Rumors are circulating that he is now a late 1st round pick on many boards. While I love his athleticism he is a very huge project that needs probably a year before he is ready to actually set foot on the field. Probably of all the players in this draft he could have benefited at least talent wise with returning for another year.
Bronson Kaufusi--Saw him mocked to us in the 1st somewhere and just thought...What??? I know the guy put up good/great numbers in college but to me he looks like a 3rd to 4th round guy because he has a lot of work to do technique wise. He plays way too high and just seems to get pushed back way more than I would ever want for a 1st round pick.

Mostly I am not a fan of the guys who make the last second surge up boards because of athleticism when the tape shows a player who really struggles.

Agreed on green and kaufusi. I didn't put on mega-reaches in mine. Tried to include guys that I think will be considered there. I would hope Kaufusi or Green wouldn't go 31...

Also... another one on the hack train!

I've just seen those 2 names creeping up the board and to me they just look like too major of projects to be our pick. Now guys that are for sure expected to go in the 1st round...

Nkemdiche--Stick with this one as I think his red flags are even too much for us. Throw in his play on the field just doesn't always excite me.
Jarran Reed--We have been linked to this guy quite a bit. I just don't see him as a great system fit as he is a better 2-gap run stuffer when to me we want the guy with athleticism to add to the pass rush as well. I just think we can get a 2-gap run stuffer in just about any round in the draft.
Jack Conklin--Most have this guy as a top-15 pick. I don't get it. He has terrible foot work, not the most powerful guy, and I don't see the elite athleticism that makes me think he can be developed into a star.

@cdumler7 I have seen that as well on TJ Green and I wonder how much of it is smoke, teams maybe hoping to get a team to reach early on him in round 2 or something due to his workout numbers. He sure as heck didn't play like a top 3 round pick. With his workout numbers I would say rd 3 or 4 would be possible, but Anything above a 4 is a reach IMO but he will go early due to those workout numbers.

I see Green as a guy who on film looks like a rd 6 or 7 guy, worked out like a 1st rounder.

Put it in the middle and round 4 should really be where he goes, but someone is gonna reach. I would be pretty upset if we took him in round 1.

I am hoping the projection of rd 1/2 is in hopes that someone who has fallen in love with his workout numbers will reach a bit thinking his stock has really actually climbed that high. I am thinking someone doesn't reach on him until late round 2 thinking he won't be there for their round 3 pick, but who knows. Another mystery in this draft. How much in love are teams really with him? If you put on the film he belongs nowhere near as high as people are now projecting him.

@Dr Cyanide 28 Pretty much the names that come to my mind. I probably don't dislike Cook as much as you do, but I am torn on him. If we draft him I wouldn't crumble.

Whitehair is just another OG to me. I don't get the love.
