Did you guys notice how excited and into it the crowd was yesterday at AT&T, for a meaningless game between 2 non playoff teams? What other fanbase can say they truly support and love and get behind their team like we do?
The Red Sox and Yankees obviously have more fans, and more passionate ones too, but they are backing perennial winners.
I was really proud of our fans yesterday. Yes the park is a big factor, but other teams with great parks don't fill them up this time of year. We are without a doubt the best fanbase in baseball not on the east coast, and 3rd 'best' overall.
And we don't just draw. The fans were really into it yesterday.
