It's always hardest on fans when their team starts the fade into irrrelavancy

Is that an official prediction? I ask because you've all made the same prediction before. Actually, it was more like a plea to the Gods than a prediction.

With the first pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the 0-16 Buffalo Bills select...

Kind of surprised to see Dallas win so easily, I have the Giants second in the division.

Dude, the Pats lost the SB, so it's already started

Getting past Marcus Marriotta and Blake Bortles (whose team was robbed) doesn't change that

QB's are tearing it up so far.

So far through 2 weeks (minus the MNF game)

16540 pass yards, 110 TDs and avg QB rating of 92.8

Last year through week 2 (took out MNF)

14352 pass yards, 74 TD's and avg QB rating of 87.3

Last year had 6 QB's with 4+ TDs through 2 weeks. Have 14 this year. Wilson needs 1 TD tonight to make that 15.

There are 12 QB's in NFL history with a higher QB rating than the league AVERAGE of 92.8 currently this year (Matt Ryan is #12, Joe Montana at 92.3 is 13th).

Ed Oliver, Houston

Very talented DL, however I believe that because he isn't on a P5 team, that automatically drops him out of at least the top 3, top 5 picks. Even if it's a need and even if his stats are much better, I think a team would more than likely draft a DL from a P5 team over him just because of the level of competition he's played against. Look at this year, Houston has played against Rice, Arizona and Texas Tech, not to mention the conference schedule for Houston isn't going to be as good.

For instance, Bosa from Ohio State is probably more than likely going above him barring any injuries. Dexter Lawrence and Clelin Ferrell from Clemson will both probably go before Oliver. I see Oliver as the best defensive player in the country, but he will probably be the 3rd or 4th defensive guy taken in the draft. Like I said, barring any injuries.

Ed Oliver has been more productive than just about all of those guys unless my brain just short circuited just now.

Once Oliver hits the combine, barring injury, he'll be in the Garrett/Clowney zone as far as draft status or close.
