In a 16 game season every win/loss is important especially when it comes to HFA.

Of course. Jumping to conclusions over any one win or loss to make general statements about the balance of the season is foolhardy at best.

It may become another Bear-like blockbuster trade.....But from what I've heard it's like 800k plus per game he's not gonna be recieving.....
I know that's peanuts compared to what he could be getting, but how long will it be before the trade happens....Pitt will be in no hurry.

If I was the Steelers I would let him hold out until week 11, then I would throw him into the action from day 1 and let him handle the ball 45+ times a game. Let the rest of the team rest until the playoffs then bench his broken ass for Conner and then try to win a SB without him. In the meantime, he lost 8.5 million dollars to prevent from being over worked and instead Pittsburgh gave him a seasons worth of touches in 6 weeks. haha

Then I would franchise tag him again next year! haha

Jesús dude... after one week. In no way do I think the Skins are better then Philly.

Dude. Relax. They are trolling you trying to get your goad. They are winning right now.

Washington did indeed play the best overall game in week 1. However, Philly's defense is still legit as hell and I don't think Atlanta is as good as everyone thought they would be.

Of course until your team misses the playoffs because of one win/tie that they could've won?

You are entirely missing the point. This thread is full of overreaching assumptions and projections based on the outcome of the first game of the season.

Only things really surprising were the Saints D against Fitzpatrick and the result of the Lions/Jets game. Not that Jets win was surprising but just the way the game unfolded.
Nothing else stands out as incredibly surprising

The AFC North is ripe for the picking really early for the Bengals.

Browns are the Browns. Steelers facing trauma. And they own the Ravens. Come on Thursday.

No I'm being a realist. Every NFL game is important as I already mentioned. Does it mean a team that had a bad game can't go 15-1? No it just means they already have one in the loss column. A loss that could knock them out of the playoffs.
Not like a game where posters like to play the what if game. What if he made that catch? What if we didn't run there? What if the ref didn't call that penalty? In a game there are 50 or so other offensive plays that need to be factored in. One play doesn't count near as much as 1/16th of your schedule.
We can agree to disagree. Let the Rams miss the playoffs by a game and let's see if you don't agree?
