What Bengals frustrated, embarrassed, disgusted, you were ashamed of in all your years as a Bengals fan? You wanted cut the minute you heard some horrible about him.

It's really a horse race between Gus Frerotte, Scott Mitchell, and Neil Odonell.

Odell Thurman...We had a decent team had he stayed out of trouble we could have made more noise...Also Chad Johnson...In the most important games TO ME he disappeared... Never did shit against Pitt....Disappeared against the Pats most of the time...Except for the 35-28 game in Foxboro back in 06'

Every Bengals running back post corey dillon

Any one who watches more college football than just the big10 (so not Bengals scouts) knew Chris Perry was going to be a bust, so I will say Kenny Irons.

I'd agree with JWill. Thurman had such talent and looked to have a great career ahead of him. Turns out he was just another moron who won the genetic lottery.

The ocho was the most frustrating to me. As good as he was at times, he could never be counted on when it really mattered, and he fell way short of the potential his talent proved he had.

yea, this is true, it actually makes me sad. Like, if I had an acting job and had to conjure up a tear, I just think of how this guy blew his life away.

I don't know if I'd say he blew his life away. For many years he was one of the best in the game.

11 year career
6 Pro Bowls
2 First Team All-Pro
11,000 yards receiving
67 TDs

Made a ton of money is one of the most famous athletes on the planet. Is he an idiot? Yes. Frustrating person? Yes. But he was overall one of the greatest Bengals in franchise history.

Given that he's not even half way to life expectancy and he has no education, no income and no real prospects for the future, I could see that argument that he 'blew his life away.'

As a football player, he was fun to watch. I wish he would have been more of a factor in big games, but it wasn't all on him -- We also struggled running the ball in those games and some of those teams rolled coverage to him on every play. I suppose he could have helped himself if he were more versatile and could be put in motion or line up in other receiver positions, but the coaches obviously didn't trust him enough to do it.

he was as Cincinnati as skyline chili there for awhile, but he could still be playing if he had common sense.

The bolded describes 3/4ths of the league once they reach age 35
