Lakers in 6 with a lot of close battles. The Lakers have played 8 games, the Nuggets have played 14 games....huge difference. Lebron is pretty well rested. He's had a week off between series AND he's played a career low in minutes per game thus far in the playoffs. Only 34/game, he averages about 42/game. Big difference, rest like this for a team with quite a few of veterans is very helpful, also the Lakers bigs got plenty of rest for 2 1/2 weeks straight lol

Based on the playoffs so far, one of two things are gonna happen

The Lakers lose game 1 but win the series in 5 games

or

The Nuggets win a 7 game series after falling down 3-1.

There are no other options. This is the way

If the Nuggets win they better win in 6...they aren't beating Lebron in a Game 7

In 22 elimination games, James is averaging 34.1 points, 10.8 rebounds, 7.4 assists.

In Game 7 situations, James averages 34.9 points per game and shoots 48.4 percent from the floor. He averages 8.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists. His last loss was in 2008 vs the Celtics where he put up 45 points.

I know having Lebron and AD is a huge advantage.

But I think the job that Vogel and his coaches are doing, might be the most underrated coaching job this season.

Especially in defensive scheming.

I think the Lakers are due for a tough series. And they need it if they are going to face the C’s.

this goes 6 or 7 games

I think the Lakers will lose game 1 per their recent pattern in the bubble playoffs and then Vogel will derive another defensive plan to kill the Nuggies' "final kick" as the analogy goes!

The Lakers should take this, but I said the same for the Clippers.

Lakers in 6.

Just a question though: Anybody, at any point choose Denver-Miami Final?:bolt:

LAKERS in 5

The advantages and matchups of this series don't look great on paper for the Nuggets.
Everything that helped them versus the Jazz and Clippers is the exact opposite with the Lakers.

The Clippers had a roster that is best built to beat a team like the Lakers
The Lakers have a roster that is best built to beat a team like Denver

Do you think the long series favored the Nuggets because they're much younger than the Clippers, or it's just the Clippers choking? I don't think I've ever seen Kawhi miss so many shots.
Between Kawhi and George they got 24 points combined when their average is double

They CHOKED

I'm guessing Lakers in 7. Even though the Lakers have the advantage on the interior, and also Lebron, they don't have the perimeter defense to prevent the Nuggets guards and wings from potentially going off. I think it'll be a really back and forth series. I expect to see some good games.

Gonna be the biggest epic failure if LA loses the title now. LOL @ tired Nuggets team and 2 Creampuff NBA East Teams. No excuse for LA not to sweep the rest of the way. The two teams that match up the best with them are out

Nuggets just seem to have a lot more reliable players than the Blazers or Rockets. When Jokic passes it to Murray, Harris, Grant, or MPJ, you just feel a lot more confident that they'll make it compared to when Lillard or Harden were dishing passes with the exception of C.J. McCollum.

Didn't everybody say the same thing against the Rockets? "They don't have the perimeter D to stop Harden and Russ and PJ and Covington and Gordon and Jeff Green etc etc"

Didn't everybody say the same thing against the Blazers, who had the hottest back court in the bubble? Dame Dolla who was averaging like 50 before they started the playoffs?

The difference between the Blazers and the Rockets is that the Nuggets have actual interior threats, including probably the 2nd or 3rd best center in the NBA. The passing they have with their bigs too allows for more movement of the guards and it's not simply just one on one action.

The Nuggets certainly do have interior threats.

But the Lakers also have the best interior D.
