Looking at the "experts" on ESPN predictions, 21 of 24 picked Colorado, most in less than 7 games. 2 went with Vegas in 7, one soul, Mr Subban picked Vegas in 6 games.

Vegas have a great mix of players for the playoffs. They just look stronger every series so far.

There are years when the randomness of the hockey playoffs renders it so meaningless it dilutes the value of the Cup for me.

Colorado had a stellar season. The Golden Knights finished below the Capitals, a team that missed the playoffs.

This isn’t what I want to see for the championship. And the regular season should mean more. The Premiership gets it right. Playoffs are for TV drama.

I hope the Habs win It all. **** Vegas. Very disappointing.

Seeing a lot of moaning and groaning about the Knights only have 39 wins during the regular season and making the Stanley Cup final while other teams with more wins missed the playoffs. It's not as if the rules were changed mid-season, the Knights just took advantage of a pillowy soft division.

Vegas is such a weird team.. like during the regular season they were aight. Not sure what happened once they somehow made the playoffs and turned into the 2001 Red Wings.
