He's worked his way into the first round of some mock drafts and my feeling is he's 90% gone.

I guess there's an off chance he decides he's an NBA role player and could instead be the one of the greatest NCAA players of all time. Like Tyler Hansborough and come back.

I agree. I saw them play in person at Tech. They really weren't as talented as they normally are IMO. Self got about as much out of them as he could...and they peaked at the right time. I'm not saying they weren't good because they were. Just not as talented as usual.

It's one of those things like in 2012 where you knew the Jayhawks would probably lose to a much better team. Happy they overachieved, still a bitter way to lose the way they did in the final four. So close, yet so far; in many ways it feels like a loss in the first round. In the end it's all the same if you don't win the natty at some level as blueblood, but I refuse to not enjoy how this year unfolded.

I'll be honest with you. I was happier when we beat Texas Tech than I was when we beat Michigan. Final 4 has always been the goal I look at. And the kids do too. I mean they all want to win it all, but they all celebrate after they make the Final 4, whether they're Loyola, or Michigan, or Duke.

Nobody on the college level thinks championship or bust unless you're 2015 Kentucky or 2009 Carolina or 2007 Florida. Teams of that ilk.

BTW, Nova and Kansas have a home and home starting next year. Because they haven't played each other enough the last several years.
