Devils made it close at the end but didnt show up for the first two periods.On A side note Clarkson got a nasty cut on his wrist/forearm off a tampa skate he did however return to the game after getting stitched up.

Clarkson wound up taking 18 stitches to close the cut on his arm from Hedmans skate.He says he's fine and will play florida.Didn't realize at the time but Tampa has now ended 2 eight game winning streaks within 48 hrs including phoenix.

Wouldn't be to worried about it devils are still pretty far out of it.But I also know how you feel I was more worried about the flyers getting in then anyone last year and we know how that ended.

Yeah well just make sure if you do pull off a heroic historic come back you get the 7th seed and leave the Pens or the Caps for us to play in the 8th, thats lookin like the best bet for the Flyers right now.

Well if it makes you feel any better I think the Devils are going to be looking much better next season than most other teams in the east. Whats your cap issues looking like for next season?

I know Lou said he isn't going to be in rebuild mode but do you think Arnott will be dealt by Monday?

With the devils calling Josefson back up I think they may be preparing for Arnott going.Arnott has already said it depends on where the team is before the deadline.He said he wants to stay if he feels they have a legitamate shot at the po's but i think that took a hit in his mind tonight.either way his 4.5 mil comes off the cap next year.I think some of that money is going to be tied up in trying to sign parise whos an RFA.other than that 1 more year of rolstons contract is the biggest obstacle i think they will have to hurdle cap wise.
