Alabama and Clemson look to be locked in thus far.

With a lesser season and view, is Ohio State in? I'm saying yes.

Who would be your 4th is the real question right now. Who? Georgia? Miami? Anybody from the Big12?

Maybe Cincy if they run the table.

Alabama and Ohio State for sure. Clemson had a great comeback, but now who have they beaten? Yeah, I know, Miami. Clemson still undefeated, pretty dominant mostly, and so is Notre Dame even though they look out of sorts at times. Four undefeated teams are in. One or two slips, and Cincy could creep in.

Tennesse was a preseason favorite....in their minds
But Jas Franklin..... great coach. Always has his guys ready. Brings in supreme talent....or something

And harbaugh...his brother is a good coach.

Tenn we all knew was gonna crash

Notre Dame plays Clemson next week. That should settle that story.

I know the Irish don’t look great. But losing to the #1 team in a close game might still get them in if they win out. Like Alabama and Georgia couple of years ago. And if these other teams beat each other up a la Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State. I honestly feel covid is going to affect a lot more outcomes.

Here is a possible CFP mess. Who gets in if: Alabama loses to Georgia in SEC championship, both with 1 loss:
ND and Clemson split, both with 1 loss both games close; ; Cincinnati with 0 losses; Oklahoma State with 1 loss; Big Ten Champ with no losses or 1 loss; Brigham Young with no losses; Southern Cal with 0 losses; Any other Group 5 with 0 losses.

Could it be possible to have 4 teams with one loss in the Playoff while 5 or six teams that are undefeated are left out.
Throw in a Florida with 1 loss if they were to win the SEC. Who gets in over ND or Clemson with 1 close loss to the other? Who gets in over Georgia and Alabama with 1 loss to each other.
Seems this could be the year to make an exception to the Natty and allow 8 teams in since the season is reduced.

Bama ain't losin.
Clemson ain't losin.
Ohio State ain't losin.

Usc from the Pac.
Because Ohio State doesn’t have a history of losing to a completely inferior team in the regular season?

Clemson will need to play ND better than they did BC and Lawrence isn't going to be there. If Clemson beats ND on Saturday, they should make it tot he CFP no problem, I would assume.

Bama should make it in.

Ohio St should make it in barring cancellation of games.

Lastly... tough one. I feel like the Big 12 is out. The PAC isn't going to have many games to go off of, but if they get a 6 or 7 and 0 Oregon or USC, maybe. Otherwise, I think it will likely be a 1 loss SEC or ND.

I would love to see BYU or Cincy make it to shake things up, but that won't happen regardless.

If they stay undefeated and all the rest lose 1 , then why not. At last report they were considered FBS teams. If this scenario were to actually take place (unlikely however), then an additional division needs to be recreated. A lot of FCS teams would hold their own against middle of the road Group 5 teams.

It won't be Cincy. The 4th team is either an undefeated team from the PAC 12, or Georgia or Miami. Oklahoma could still sneak in. Also don't count out Notre Dame if they win on Saturday.
