I completely disagree. If you choose to buy a house that is part of a homeowners association. You agree to live by their rules. If you don't like the rules then you don't have to buy in that community.

He knew what the rules were going in. He is just being butthurt because he got called out on violating them. If I were him I would have just hung the flag becuase it is not against the rules.
