Well, the Brissett thing is still unconfirmed as far as I know, and not a single local sports media guy here (including John Clayton) thinks it happened.

Not quite sure what to make of this. I assume it means Hundley steps off the plane as the backup, Austin Davis is gone, and we'll try to stash McGough on the practice squad.

It pretty much sums up what the Seahawks think of Davis. As Brock & Salk said (I paraphrase) this morning, Hundley at least has some experience (albeit not really good) as compared to McGough in case Russell gets injured.

Eh a 6th is worth a mediocre backup. Davis looks terrible and McGough just doesn't have any experience. Packers offload a guy they would've cut anyway and get something in return.

Pretty neutral swap. Nothing noteworthy.
