Don't know enough about Musgrave and his reputation ( if he has one ) as a qualified/reputation as a qb " wisperer " or good resume in that position. Any info ?

His last two years with Derek Carr - count for something.

I would probably describe Musgrave as a very good QB coach, who works very well with QB's but I am not sure he has the peak of an O-Cord... He is exactly what we need with the role we have given him. I am very excited to have both he and McCoy together. He has done well with QB's, he has a lot of experience and got a job as an assistant fresh out of his NFL career. He had an NFL career much like Kubiak, where cept he traveled around more, but a career backup who never really got his shot to start, but in doing so it also prepared him well for his next step in coaching.

I want to back up. My comment wasn't meant to say Musgrave did a bad job as an o-cord, because he didn't do by any means. I just meant that I feel this is the role in which he is a perfect fit for.

So we have the Chargers HC, The Raiders OC, now let's go get the Chiefs ST's coach.

The added benefit of Musgrave is that he has reason to hate the Raiders. The Musgrave- MIke McCoy relationship would seem crucial.

Looking Back At What Bill Musgrave Brought To The Raiders

Interesting to read the summation of Bill Musgrave's two year stint with the Raiders and what he brought to the Raiders and Derek Carr. Also - I found out Jack Del Rio managed to fire Bill Musgrave as his OC twice (once in Jax and now in Oakland).

It appears Mike McCoy and Bill Musgrave will be a boon to Booker's career as a Broncos (I'm thinking Fred Jackson type career).
