The Rams offense came alive in the second-half of the Panther's game as Henderson, Brown, Skowronek, and Rivers worked at the running game. The O-line began to click after Noteboom went-out with an injury. I don't know who occupied the new O-line but it played better in the Second Half. Robinson finally started to click at WR. Higbee was a bit quiet today. Brandon Powell really was active in the offense and on STs, Little Turd 3.0 made and appearance, and Kupp was his usual reliable, productive self.

We need this break to get back Jefferson and sign OBJ after the trade of Akers. We also get Bobby Brown back from his 6-game suspension and that will help our D-line. So let's see if the Rams begin to get going like last year starting with McShit-fer-Brains.

The one thing I do like about the regime from previous is that if everybody is focused you do see better 2nd halves. That never happened with Fisher, Spagnuolo, Martz, etc. etc.

but man if the rams come out of the bye week flat.....you can kiss post season goodbye need to see a win streak greater than 2 games

The O-line that took over after Noteboom left with a season-ending Achilles Tendon rupture was the O-Line that gave Stafford time like he had last year and did pretty well on the run game the rest of the game.

That O-line was from Left to Right: Jackson, Evans, Kolone, Aboushi, and Havenstein. That is the one that got game balls after the game and that will be the one that steps on the field against the Niners after the Bye Week.

Benton Whitley on the move again. This time, Kevin O'Connell poached Whitley from the Chiefs PS and brought him to the Vikings. Looks like O'Connell is feasting on ex-Rams players.

That's what happens when your team is top-heavy, a majority of your cap is consumed by 7-8 players, so you are constantly scouring the league for cheap talent because the selfish ones on your team refuse to realize you can't sustain success when 7-8 guys take up that much cap space.

Yes they are way top heavy. I thought the Rams would do whatever it took to protect Stafford and fill their roster with linemen. I guess they didn't and they are paying for it with a weak offense.

I heard today on a radio show how all over the NFL O-Linemen are dropping like flies with soft tissue injuries.
They said it is possibly because they don't play in the pre season. And it was McVay that got that started. Holding players back until the season begins may not be a wise idea.

Added to that, many of the teams don't require mandatory participation in off-season weight-training and fitness sessions because the CBA and the league prohibits a lot of those old mandatory weight-training team meets. Now many of the players hire their own fitness trainers and go about fitness on their own and it is now contributing to O-lineman going down in the season. There is also a shortage of viable lineman to find for back-up replacement positions. This is one of the reasons we recently signed to our active roster 6'8, 330lb, 36 year-old Nsekhe OT, who was with the Rams when they were still in St Louis.

There are a lot players in this list to trade for before the deadline that are cheap upgrades on some positions that we now have. I like many of the choices like the poachable Netane Muti on the Broncos PS. Then there is also Reilly Reiff who is sitting on the bench with the Bears and he is a big OT.

If the Rams are still looking for a RB, they easily trade a Fifth rounder to Cleveland for D'Ernest Johnson and be done with it. This article suggests a Second or Third could be used on Edge Rusher Chubb or Quinn but both of these guys are not worth our 2023 Second or Third rounder when you can a guy like Usche from Belicheat for a 6th.

Yeah, I don’t know what moves the Rams brass are going to make, but judging by the moves they have made all off-season up until now, I’m not really confident they will be the right moves.

The Rams front office got fat on the Lombardi Trophy and have been slow to act to make this seasons team better. However I still hold hope for a playoff run. Next week they get some guys back and the week after a few more.
They face the filthy niners and they owe them a butt kicking.

Yes, we do owe them.

I don’t think it happens though.

Shanny has McVay’s number, and McVay is too stubborn to change anything.

Add in the fact Stafford is playing awful this season and it’s a recipe for disaster.

If we play like, but a more disciplined game, than the Carolina game we should be O.K. But also if we don't let the Niners get big plays all damn game long.

How about a straight up trade with Denver for Gordon with Akers going there?
