He has a big ol' blindspot when it comes to the Hawks. If memory serves, he can't stand that the local team is popular locally, as he has to live with and listen to the coverage.

Not very logical. Hell, I used to get fatigue with Cowboys coverage when I lived in DFW, but I never complained to the fans about it. It's good for the community, and great for business. Our station broadcast the games, and I got to meet a couple of Cowboys. Multiple stations (including us) would have a full time crew in Waco for training camp. All cowboys, all the time.

Why would anyone expect anything different?

Every single team that does better gets more support from fans. All of them. 100%. And he is OUTRAGED by this! Somehow that translates to there wasn't a single fan prior to 2012. I mean every single seat was bought by corporations and given away. We weren't already known for being loud prior to 2012 or anything. I guess it was just loud freeloaders off the corporate dime? His narrative never works, but by God he's not going to let that stop him from trying it again and again and again.

It was a missed PI. So what? Calls are missed all the freaking time and every team gets bit by them. Just go make plays and don't leave it where the refs can job you. That's NFL football. Falcons put themselves in that position.

I picked a random year before 2012 and googled NFL merch sales by team. Found many. Here's one above for you. They are all over.

So you want to suggest your proof is you didn't see hawks fans around town prior to 2012? And your dismissal of sellout records (that go well beyond many teams) and merchandise sales is solely based on you saying so?

That's what I thought. Nothing to back it up. Because it has been PROVEN wrong so many times.

Congrats your home town crowd ranks slighty better than half the fan bases. Then again Forbes is likely biased.
