The flipside of that coin is that if the Giants get down due to turnovers they will need to keep throwing to play catch up. It does seem like Eli has a Cruz fetish, though. Nicks was targeted more last week, but seemed to vanish in 2nd half. Havent watched the Colts this year...is Hilton a big part of offense or more of a 3rd WR?
He may technically be the third WR.. but as far as the offense goes he's more like the 1B to Wayne's 1A.. some games he might even be the 1.
Eli play8ng catch up this year has benefited the opposing defense at least as much as his receivers thus far this year.
Alright, fellas. I've swapped out Nicks. We'll see how it plays out. Thanks for the feedback. I knew Hilton put up huge stats last week but having not really watched all year didn't know if it was likely a fluke or what.
Hilton has been feast or famine this year. He's had 2 great games and all the rest are pretty poor. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for it either. Indy could get a lead and just try to grind the game out. I think Nicks might be the safer play. Wilson is out for the Giants, taking away what little chance of a run game NY had. This pretty much means NY has to throw all the freaking time now so you know Nicks is going to get quite a few targets. I looked it up and Nicks has had at least 7 targets in every game he's played outside of that Carolina spanking.
