As much bs as that pickup of the dpi was, if mattison doesn't drop that easy screen pass then they likely tie the game
Oh for sure.

Add in TJs 3 drops, bynum mistiming his jump on 3rd and 18, fumbling first play, bailing out to KC on 4 th and 1 running into wr.

Minny makes too many mistakes game in and game out. Not just the fumbles either. Just compounding things with mental blunders. Throwing that challenge flag and then using up all his time outs early in the 4th was really stupid on O'Connell's part. Dropped balls, like you said. Just too many things going wrong. Easily could be tied with the Lions if they eliminate likely half of those mistakes.

I appreciate it then Simms

Well that is my ASSUMPTION. You bring up a valid point. Simms has been up to things before on this site and I'm not dismissing a conspiracy or covert operation....

I've already notified my lawyers and hired a private mercenary team. I suggest you take necessary precaution as well Rowdy....

I know I'm an asshole for doing this but what the hell, one more laugh at the current state of the Donks. Ladies and gentleman, I give you Russell Wilson.

Little stuff like this is always so special when you realize what is actually happening. Special combo.

It's pretty amazing the connection those two have and it seems nobody can figure out how to stop them. Kelce just has a knack for finding that one spot and Mahomes always knows he can trust it and gets it there.

3rd and 8 near the goal line is just a really tough spot for any offense. If a defense covers everyone, Mahomes is the only one open so he'll start running. If Kelce runs open towards Mahomes then all of a sudden Chiefs have an option play. Sometimes you'll see defenses crash down on this a bit and someone will be open on the backside but honestly near the goal line teams just have to play Kelce aggressive. Easier said than done, though, because Kelce is a mismatch.

Basically in a post-Tyreek situation the Chiefs skill players need to put in a little extra to stand out. Pacheco runs hard. Kelce creates his own routes. McKinnon does everything. Had to work up the depth chart multiple times to stay on the team. Chiefs will need to find a star at WR at some point but until then its guys putting in the work. Rice and Ross do both have some potential. Watson bailed Mahomes out from an INT yesterday.

MVS and Moore need to be phased out of the offense at this point. Ramp up Rice and Ross ASAP.

Going into the offseason I thought WR was the biggest need on the team because of variance. That said, I think the WR situation will figure itself out. The short yardage situation seems like its a real issue. They would've smoked the Vikings by 3 TDs if they wouldn't have been routinely beat in the trenches.
