Not a great slate of games but there are some standouts.

My personal favorite is Browns at Chargers as I'm a big Herbert fan

The the good thing about this week is we have a great game at every time frame.

TNF - Hawks-Rams
Early Sunday - Jets-Falcons (not great but more football)
12 o-clock game slate
Late game - Browns-Chargers/Niners-Cards
SNF - Bills-Chiefs
MNF - Colts-ravens

nice slate

I'm not defending the Chiefs with this comment so much as I'm marveling at how they signed WR Josh Gordon off the street while having much more serious needs on defense.

I get upgrading the o-line but you've got to throw the defense a bone every once in awhile...

Bills vs Chief is big but being a Seahawk fan, the Seahawks vs Rams is bigger for me.

Same here. The Rams looking to bounce back after getting embarrassed at home. A win for the Seahawks would get them right back in the thick of things in the division and deal the Rams a big blow in tiebreaking scenarios.

Bills at Chiefs is huge.

I think a win for the Bills all but end the Chiefs chances of finishing with a better regular season record
Rams vs Seahawks is always a battle, Chiefs vs Bills is juicy though …

I mean, what top 75 WR do they have on their roster not named Hill? Defense obviously needs to pick it up, but if they're just a *normal* bad defense and give somewhere between 26-29 points a game, you're golden if you're scoring ≥35 which there's every reason to think they can and will. If you don't sign Gordon you're forced to accelerate the development of players like Jordy Fortson and Noah Gray- Tight Ends- for roles they probably aren't ready for.

Yeah, the defense needs to re-find their mediocre form instead of historically awful, but Gordon was basically available for free. No brainer risk there.

Mahomes-Allen, Browns-Bolts second.

These were 2 I debated voting for... went with Bills/Chiefs as could be must win for KC if want chance at 1st week bye, think Bills with roll through the AFC East this year and could be hard to catch if lose to them here with not having tiebreaker.

Actually think all the games listed could be good ones... but put these 2 at the top of the list.

Went Bills/KC. Biggest impact, IMO.

Browns/Chargers will be a good one as well.

Bengals/GB should be interesting. GB's pass defense is odd...giving up 67% completion and 10 TD's, but only 209 yards a game.

Going to see just how good the Bengals really are on defense, too. Arod against a much improved defense.

Good litmus test for the rest of the season for Cin. If they can hang, or even win, I think it helps propel them. Lose, and lose badly, we'll see just how much further they still need to go.
