Start Sutton.
Steelers Film Room: Why Cameron Sutton deserves to start opposite Joe Haden
He can't do any worse!™
Burns played shitty in man coverage, too.It makes sense.
Reason...The Steelers are a zone based team that will play some man. The majority of the DEF snaps are to Burns' weakest area...unless he can make a quick improvement, it's just not a good fit imo.
Sutton can play both man and zone...the biggest reason I would give Burns another game or so (assuming they can keep getting Ws), Sutton is the next man up in the slot so if he's starting outside is Sens your next man up inside?
It doesn't look like it now, but imo Haden/Hilton/Sutton/Burns are the top 4 CB talents on the roster, what I'm not sure about is if Sutton is outside how Burns fits.

Burns is a bust, and if we can't improve on him and Coty, we are well and truly screwed this season.
You can see him in some of those gifs. His man has taken 2-3 steps downfield already, and Burns still hasn't turned or taken a step. It's like he's playing baked.Yeah, true, but he has half a chance to improve as man cover guy because he's played better in the past.
For this season...Sutton is the only hope for improvement.

Burns is playing Online Madden on AOL dialup while his opponent is on FiOS.
From what I've read Hilton's injury is definitely a concern. His arm was in a sling for most the week.I see Mike Hilton and JuJu on the Injury Report, anything serious there or just cautionary?
Down & dirty.
Defense... This is going to make me sick but I'll go ahead and say it. Flacco is a much better QB this year. He's playing well and will likely have a great game this week. Steelers D can't depend on Ryan Fitzcraptrick giving away the ball every series. Since the Steelers DBs can't seem to stop a nosebleed, I imagine we'll see Flacco's deep ball on full display this week. It's going to be ugly.
Injuries... Sounds like they'll once again be without Morgan Burnett. And most likely without Mike Hilton. Good news is DeCastro seems ready to roll, and Gilbert is no longer on the injury report.
These AFCN bouts are no longer the old school slobberknocking type. The rivalry still runs deep, but the makeup is much MUCH different. Steelers offense will need to carry them to victory because I have ZERO faith in the defense. Pray that Ben gets red hot again.
