I would still take Brady or Rodgers over Andy, but I am really glad he is playing so well right now. I hope he keeps it up all season and through the playoffs.

it was either improve or bust for Dalton. he still needs to not slump when the evening lights come on, but so far so good.

I guess Brown will have to consider dusting off his checkbook if this continues.

It really doesn't matter how he plays now, with Dalton it all comes down to the playoffs.
I mean they can go 16-0, he can shatter passing records, but if he lost the first playoff game, it would be "Same old Andy Dalton"

What happens if they make the playoffs, Dalton goes 30/40 passing for 350 yards, 3 TD's / 0 INT's and the team loses 31 to 28? Is this Dalton's fault still? Is it going to be measured off the TEAM winning, or Dalton's stats specifically? I mean there are 52 other guys on a team.

Granted, I am with you on the playoffs, but in the last 4 seasons, I think the losses can be mostly related to Dalton's play, so I agree there. However, if that is not the case if we go one and out again, but Dalton's stats are awesome, is it still his fault?

In your scenario, Dalton will most likely be exonerated, and the loss will fall (rightly so) on Marvin's shoulders.

It won't be Dalton's fault..... But a year from now, when they're posting Andy's playoff record as 0-5 nobody will give him credit for the game he should have won.

Dalton will stink it up when the games get important. No worries there.

I think this week will go a long way to see what this offense can do against a top tier defense. While maybe Seattle hasn't been as good as they'd like on defense, they are still pretty damned good. It's a good test.

I'd like to see AJ Green man the fuck up and put up some decent yards on the legion of boom. Sherman talked some serious shit about him back in 2011. It'd be nice to see AJ play with a little fire this weekend.
