After the near win in Buffalo, the Rams are home against the Geeants. The Geeants got toasted by the Niners this past week 36-9. This game should be a win but sometimes the Rams just have this need to make simple things hard and difficult. Many think McVay has found his RB in Henderson and the kid is coming off a big game against the Bills. Akers remains questionable and I suspect Henderson will win this issue outright. Our Defense still needs to shore-up its weaknesses which were exposed in Buffalo. We shall see how the Rams come-out in this game at So-Fi Stadium.

The O-Line is playing well and creating huge holes to run through and Henderson is fast out of the gate and is seeing these holes and exploiting them. Now if we can find an outside pass rush on defense we will be back in the playoff hunt.

Agree Rambunctious. The O-line is playing great as Blythe as provided great play at the Center position and Corbett and Edwards are playing very well as guards. The vets at tackle are having a renaissance of sorts as both Havenstein and Whitworth are playing really well. The TE and an WR blocking is superb and Goff and Henderson are capitalizing!! Agreed on the defensive side of the ball.

In case you forgot: from L to R from the QB's perspective; Irv Pankey, Tom Newberry, Doug Smith, Duval Love, Jackie Slater. All of them all-time greats!!

One of the baddest DEs to ever play the game. Now in his 70's and many of his linemates deceased, Jack Youngblood epitomized what playing professional football was about and remains hidden by these money-grubbing egomanical dimwits of today. This is why Aaron Donald is a throwback to the those badass days of real football!!

An update on Jordon Fuller. Fuller wasn't put on inactive list in the Bills game as first reported. Fuller played in the Bills game but sustained a shoulder injury to which he left the game and did not return. Thus, he did not show-up in the stat sheet. McVay is monitoring his progress and he may not play against the Geeants.

Interestingly, McVay now has the focus of the O on the run and Henderson was rated the best in the NFL at the RB position with Goff ranked third in the QB column. That is different indeed and we have found the Gurley replacement has he does the run and catches passes out of the backfield with equal adeptness.

Also, our Outside LB crew has collectively gotten so bad that they simply are doing nothing out there. PFF has rated them all badly and the defense has a huge weakness in rushing the passer. WE are rated at the bottom of that category. The defense outside AD is doing little or nothing to get to the passer. Thus, according to Ramswire, the combined effort of Ebukam, OKO, Polite, and Collins is essentially zero and the Rams are getting antsy about getting Lewis back ASAP.

According to McVay, this 2020 version of the Rams at 2-1 is better than the 2019 team that started 3-0. I tend to agree with him because our running game is very stellar. The O-line is creating huge holes for Henderson and we are featuring the running game early in the down sequences over the last two years. We are actually using the run to set-up the pass. Nothing like old-school, retro-football. Now, if we can just get rid of those bullshit unis and that ridiculous, useless logo.

Apparently Fuller's shoulder injury is not significant enough to keep him from starting at Safety over Taylor Rapp. Rapp is headed back to the inactive list because he is not quite fully healed from his injury he suffered in the first game of the season.

Hopefully the Rams won't need the guys that are on day to day against the lowly Giants. Let them rest up for the Washington W's and the Niners.
