Payton has Penner's money to spend - and by golly he is going to do it. I'll bet Payton has hired 10 more front office staff - he's building a new player practice facility - they just put $100 million into Mile High and got a committee studying a new stadium idea. OH, and Payton's favorite players got new contracts - bundled with bonus money - to reduce the cap hit of expensive contracts.

This will be a tough game. Jets defense is for real and Aaron Rodgers is a huge upgrade over Zach Wilson. Breece Hall and Wilson will be a handful for Vance Joseph's defense.

However, I have growing faith that the Payton led coaching staff is going to get progressively better at scheming up each opponent. If I had to predict today, I would say a Jets victory but I think the game will be closer than people think.

There was one play - I haven't see talked about - Riley moss is bore down on by a Tampa Olineman and Riley Moss tossed the guy to the ground and made an open field tackle on the RB breaking into the 2nd level of the defense. I'll try to find it - it was an amazing play.

Riley has a hop to him. Hard to explain but he is always one second ahead mentally of the guy taking him on. Noticed it at Iowa... His decision and football IQ is just a little quicker then most and it has really helped him to get where he is today.

LOL - I don't know where I put that vid of Riley Moss on this forum, but it was his teammate from Iowa Tristin Wirfs??? he flung to the ground to avoid the block. BTW - Riley Moss has very long arms - which I love in a DB.

I suspect - if there is any team - Sean Payton would most enjoy thumbing - it would the wildly dysfunctional Jets.
