Game Thread: Week 4: (2-1) Bears vs (2-1) Vikings

IMO, we just match-up well with Minnesota. We saw it last season and we'll see it again in this one.

They rely heavily on the run game - we have probably the best run D in the league. Kirk never gets anything going against even a "good" pass rush or a "good" defense. Much less the one we have.

Their run defense has been very average thus far. I would hope that we finally have a game where we truly commit to Montgomery and our rushing attack.

Unless our QB totally hands this one away with turnovers... we win it. Even when he did that last year, though. We still won rather convincingly at home.

Fun Fact: Minnesota has won visiting the Bears only 3 times since 2000.

The Vikings look a little tougher this year than they were last year. The words also out on Mitch. Rodgers struggles against their defense, I have a feeling Mitch will too. I think this is going to be a tougher game than richi is making it out to be. Cook looks like the real deal and I think cousins goal in this game is going to be getting rid of the ball as quick as possible. They don’t need to score many points to beat us.

Aaron Jones is the lone rusher whos 75 yard run led to actually rush for 116 on 23 carries......….Otherwise its 22 carries for 46 yds

Its gonna be tough sledding for Montgomery to get his yards...….And that's if nagy uses him a lot and we don't have to rely on MT to get the job done for us...…..

The Vikings run D is very, very average. In two of those three games - they led by 20+ mid-2nd quarter and on. ATL and Oakland abandoned running the ball.

They have surrendered 4.4 yards per carry. Which is good for 18th in the NFL.
