Well after we escaped Indianapolis with a win that woulda/coulda have easily been a loss if it were not for the Defense, the Rams return home for a Sunday regular time game against Tommy and the Buccaneers. We owe this guy a thing or two but he is playing better than ever and with another ring and the many years of experience, there is not much he has not seen in the NFL.
To beat this guy, the Rams are going to have play error-free football, we are going to have to score early and a lot, and we are going to have to knock the crap out of him nearly every play by taking a page from the Michal Strahan and Geeants defense from that Snooperbowl win. You let Brady get into a rhythm and you let him stand back there picking his receiver, he will eat you alive. So, it will be lots of blitzing. Maybe Morris should teach these guys the 46 defense and its subtle variations that Belicheat used against Goff and the Rams in the last Snooperbowl we were in.
At any rate, if there was ever a time for our D to have a field day, this is going to be THE game because we could easily be .500 four weeks from now when we face the Bucs and Cards at home and the SeaHags away. I'll be coming into the board late as I get off work earlier than last season.
