Packers are going to need a much better performance from their O if they want to win this game. It would also help if the D got a couple turnovers, something along the lines of not dropping int's that hit them in the hands would be very nice.

I hope Jaire mans-up on Diggs and King mans up on Thielen. Diggs has torched us the past couple years as none of our DBs could match his speed and quickness; Jaire has been blanketing everyone he covers and is probably the only CB we have that can cover him. Thielen is the bigger possession receiver and King is the bigger possession corner. I'd rather Thielen eat us for 8-yard chunks than Diggs eat us for 38-yard chunks.

Well, they ran all over the Falcons and threw the ball about 10 times in that game, so reality is they need to stop the run. Plus, the back out of the backfield in the flats has been an Achilles heel of the Packers for years, so stopping Cook on that is also going to be a key. The way I see it is they need to stop or control the run game, then get pressure on Cousins with 4 or 5 and they have a good chance.

Stopping the run is always important. I'm not going to disagree with you there. But...

In both games against the Vikings last year, the Packers running backs out-rushed the Vikings backs. Meanwhile, Diggs and Thielen combined for 461 yards and 5 TDs in those two games.

How bout everybody on defense do their job and they should be alright. I think this game will give us a lil more insight as to what kind of defense GB has.

ATL got smoked because they failed at tackling Cook and turned the ball over 3 times.

Key Week 2 numbers: Browns' hope, Kyler Murray's growth

ONE NUMBER TO TRUST

29%: Packers' rate of defensive disruption (ranking eighth for Week 1). Next Gen Stats show that in last Thursday's win over the Bears, the Packers pressured Chicago quarterback Mitchell Trubisky on 38% of dropbacks, up from 13.2% in the teams' two games last season. Further, my computer vision tracks 13 times where the Packers got into a 5-foot halo in Trubisky's field of vision (what I count as defensive disruption, compared to NGS' definition of disruption as occurring when a player is within 2 yards of the QB when he throws the ball) for a rate of 29%. For context, think of about a 16% disruption rate as being very good.

He doesn’t care about road games. He’s just annoyed at the entitled older generation of fans that tell other loud rowdy fans to sit down during games

Im sure he doesn't but you better believe opposing fans will think it bothers him and they will be doing the wave when he is on the field.

Za'Darius Smith Led The NFL In Impressive Stat In Week 1

Za’Darius Smith and the Green Bay Packers were able to come away with a huge Week 1 win over the Chicago Bears. It wasn’t a pretty game, but the Packers’ defense was able to hold the Bears to just three points in a 10-3 victory. That kind of performance was a breath of fresh air in Green Bay.

According to Pro Football Focus, Smith actually led the NFL in quarterback pressures for Week 1 alongside Danielle Hunter. Both pass rushers ended up with 10 quarterback pressures, which is an incredibly impressive stat.

I think all the GB defense stats and accolades are great but I'm going to be cautious and wait on an opinion until i see them consistently play like they did in Chicago.

It was just nice to see the defense get a sack to end the game instead of them choking and then needing the offense to make a last drive come back at the end. Hopefully it can continue.

I couldn't agree more.

*fingers crossed* lets keep this train rolling.

I don't quite understand going for it on 4th and 1 with under 2 minutes left in the half. You have the opportunity to make a 2 score game a 3 score game...too much upside to a fg and too much downside for going for it. Maybe that's just me.

There you go...let the punt hit at the 5...why field it when it can be downed at the 1...then block after a fair catch...

Still too many dumb players on this team...
