I think Arizona needed this destruction of TB right after a very suspect home opener. On the other side, pretty humbling for Winston and company.

So true. They needed a head check and they got it against NE.

I knew Verrett was good, but I didn't consider him a shutdown CB until today... Granted I don't follow SD very closely

He doesn't get a lot of attention because of the team and how the defense overall has usually been bad. If he can stay healthy he'll be one of the best CB's in football.

They've looked like a top 10 team through 6 of the 7 quarters they've finished, but one epic fail can erase all that. Already lost Allen and Woodhead was carted off, hate these injuries.

Wilson literally only has to put 1 TD drive together to win a game....what a luxury to have a D that keeps you in a game when your O sucks for 90% of the game.
