So I know I don't post too much on these threads but I do want you all to know we owe this victory to tWifey (with an assist from me). I went and grabbed tWifey fer good luck and kicked my asshole Denver fan son out of the room at the 8 minute mark!
Whatever works :suds:

With Green Bay choking another lead against the Bears, the Rams will go to Seattle if the Eagles win or Chicago if the 49ers win.

That's about the extent of it, UVA. Packers died at the end. Sort of like what we almost did!

Well right now, the Packers are up 21-9 in the Fourth Quarter against the Bears. Looks like the Packers will be playing in Seattle. If the Nibers win tomorrow, we will play the Whiners at SoFi next week!!
Caleb had some more 4th quarter magic left in him.

Because he does stupid shit that gets his team a loss like yesterday when he went for it on Fourth Down right before the half instead of kicking the FG for the points. And his play-calling is suspect often.

I watched a Packers Youtube Live Streamer last night and he sounded defeated after it happening twice within a month.

This is why I don't get the McShitferbrains moniker.....

After enduring Jeff Fisher.....McVay is a brilliant HC.
He is but the problem is he continues to make boneheaded decisions year in and year out.. see list below Mainly with Coaching and game planning.
Ex. constantly abandoning the run,
calling ill advised passes when in the redzone,
going for it on 4th down instead of taking points,
constantly having the team under perform against lesser comp,
coming out of bye weeks with lackluster performances.
holding on to useless players

These are things that plague the team constantly over the years.. It is what comes with the territory though, I wouldn't trade him for anyone else though. Its like a marriage, there are ups and downs but more ups with him.

Go rams!

I get it.

Very few head coaches are perfect though.

If they decide to make a change before we hire a coach I would gladly trade say 2 of our 3rd rounders and a 4th for him.

No chance I would trade the #1 pick. :heh:

He gets not enough credit. He is the best in Rams history. Every year we lose mutiple assistant coaches mostly OCs and DCs and yet keeps them in contention.

If anyone else wants to know why I refer to McVay as McShitferBrains see Jermaine's post above and then read the attached article as McVay nearly gave the Game away yesterday when he didn't kick the FG right before the half. What transpired thereafter provided a tremendous shift in momentum from which we nearly didn't recover!

Moreover, apparently, McVay gave Kotwica a chewing-out on the sidelines yesterday for the blocked punt which was very Blackburn-like. Once again, he couldn't get along with John Fassell which resulted in a firing/mutual quitting/separation where Fassell went to the Caboys and Fassell is now out of Football. In the meantime, the Rams' STs have never been the same. In other words, McVay caused his own problem.

Granted, no HC is perfect but McVay has been doing the same stupid, boneheaded shit for 10 straight years. It is almost a fundamental flaw that ain't gettin' any better. One major reason for this is he is not comfortable with delegating. To his credit, one reason he doesn't is he loses coaches nearly every year. But still, Mike Lafleur has proven he is better at play-calling for the Offense than McVay, yet McVay insisted on calling the plays yesterday and we almost lost again.

More importantly, because his mistakes are so predictable, other Coaches in the league know how to get to the Rams and that usually ends in a loss. How can an 8-9 team look like a Tom Brady-led team when the Rams were consistently making Game-losing mistakes at the worst times and it was on both sides of the football. Part of the answer to that question is McVay's failure to demand discipline in the manner that Dick Vermiel use to demand it and they practiced until they were boreed stiff!! Just ask Kurt Warner!

Well, we shall how all of this ends in the coming weeks but right now, Stafford suffered a finger injury (hyperextension) on his throwing hand that may become problematic going forward. The description is in the article.
