He was all right. I think the league figured his play calling out after year 1, but he never really had a full cupboard here.
I'd like to add that i wasnt pleased with Dennis Allen's first 3 quarters of defense. GB was getting like 5 yards on every single play. IMO it shouldnt have been that easy after playing them a second time in 3 weeks.

Ya, that was the back-to-back walk-off OT pick sixes by Brown. Two weeks in a row. Instant legend, and imo was the best safety I've ever seen play.
Mike Brown was a great safety, but only when he played. Which, after that legendary 2001 season, was not very often. Then, after his knee injury in 2006? Followed by retear of his ACL in Week 1 of 2007? He straight up was never the same player again.
I was at that Niners game with my dad. It was hard being a kid in the 90's and trying to be a Bears fan. The mind of a grade school kid can only handle so many 4 win seasons. That 2001 season is what hooked me for life, though. Those two games, in particular, if I'm being honest.
Well, obviously his career was derailed by injuries. When he was healthy, the dude was a baller.
