Our defensive front is pretty damn bad. IMO, we'd be a real threat to win the Super Bowl if we had a pass rush. It'll probably be what finishes us off at some point, though.

Don't believe this was ever meant to be a 1 year turn around. Don't get me wrong, ride the wave, so yes, D line help is needed.

this game should be concerning for us bears fans.

I know exactly what you mean,but it has been like this all year.

There has been some type of takeaways from our wins this year....Our wins other than Dallas and Cle are just not satisfying......
I'm just glad the gaffe from the first qtr didn't comeback to haunt us.......I was still bitching about that in the 3rd qtr.....

But non-the-less,it's off to SF next weekend.....

And let's remember we're coming off a 5 win/last place-in-the-Norris campaign, with all that turmoil firing an OC, then later the HC during the season. Then hiring a new HC and staff for this year. These are some of the reasons I had us pegged at 8-9. And I thought I was being a bit on the optimistic side with the prediction. So even if we drop these last two games, which I don't think we will, it's still been a super hell of a year. And more importantly, the future looks bright.

NFL Network just reported Matt Nagy's contract as OC is up after the season. They are saying he is a strong head coaching candidate (LOL) this offseason.

If my Raiders fire Carroll to hire him I will lose it. That's not an upgrade at all and I know you kind folks can relate.

Many Bears fans might deny this, but that initial season he was considered an offensive genius coming up with very created plays. But the well ran dry pretty much from week 5 of the 2nd season until his eventual canning. Maybe the 2nd time around he'll have learned more, who knows.
