Well that was about as lackluster as it gets. Steelers got bullied for the most part.

They made a game of it, but Najee's fumble was the turning point and they never recovered. Defense gave up a lot of long drives & couldn't get off the field.

TJ's injury is supposedly a twisted ankle so it shouldn't keep him out next week.

They were thoroughly outcoached yesterday. Which is the exact reason why I would never consider Tomlin as a COTY candidate.

The death blow in that game was the Najee fumble. That unforced error took anything that was left in the tank out.

As for folks complaining about the penalties, too bad, those happen every game to any team. They weren't disciplined in that game and it showed.

Items from that game, that make it so mind-numbing with Tomlin.

1. When he wasted 30 seconds before calling the timeout in the first half when the Eagles were punting away.
2. In the 4th quarter, down by two scores, past mid-field. Knowing your defense hasn't held the Eagles all game, decides to punt vs going for it. That decision ended the game because the Eagles kept the ball the rest of the game.

Why is it they can beat Lamar without much issue but any other QB that has the ability to scramble at will they struggle. Wonder if it is less Tomlin and more Harbaugh as he overthinks playing against the Steelers?

#2 had to go on 4th down……no urgency at all

Tomlin will always be a moron when it comes to in-game coaching... It is what it is. Just baffles me how nobody seems to remember this when glorifying Tomlin's accolades.

Seemed like containment was a serious issue. Patrick Queen was back to whiffing tackles.

Playing 3 games in 10 days is brutal. Not really sure I want to get amped up for this week's game against BAL knowing the Steelers are likely going to be VERY lethargic in it.

The OL had a very tall task against Philly's front 7. And they were not performing well. Hopefully that game showed them how much work they still need to do to be great.

Can't confirm this, but I'm pretty sure Donte Jackson has left every single game with an injury of some sort. Most times he comes back, which makes everyone forget he got hurt.

He didn’t have the best game, not to mention the rest of the secondary……lots of blame to go around…..

Collectively not many played well. Cam, TJ & Minkah showed up pretty well. Glad to see Minkah make some splashes.

Agree, Minkah seemed more involved….. there is no reason to have him 25 yards away from the line of scrimmage every play and reacting way too late…..

Teryl Austin is not a very good DC. He's too stagnant. Doesn't move his guys around and stays in the same base packages routinely, while relying on his stars to perform. Relying on 4-man rushes to generate pressure. Creativity is pretty much non-existent.

As a true center fielder I think Minkah is still one of the best in the NFL. But he desires to be closer to the line of scrimmage, which causes him to be more aggressive towards the box and sometimes caught out of position downfield. Would be nice to see them move him around & into the box more.

Guarantee they release him after the Steeler game as they wouldn’t want the Steelers to sign him again. Granted I don’t see it happening anyway.

I wasn't expecting much against the Eagles, in Philly.

They are a very good team, and the Steelers were missing Pickens and Elliott.

Both huge losses seeing as how Pickens is the only real starting WR on the team, and Elliot was very much needed to hold down this opponent Offense.

The longest NFL win streak remains.
