Game Thread: Week 15, Los Angeles Rams @ Dallas Cowboys, Sunday, 12/15/19, 1:25pm, PST

Yep, we are playing very well on all three levels and McVay is now calling a better all-around game. Things are clicking at the right time with our O-line with the new guys like Corbett, Evans, and Edwards. Blythe has become a pretty good Center and we were wasting his talents at Guard. Havenstein has lost his job but he can be used as a Tackle eligible in the Jumbo. Otherwise he is out the door and so will be Allen.

We will go into D and kick some Caboys ass. I think we will beat the heck out of these guys who are 6-7. I think McVay is going to pull the tape from the playoff game of last year and duplicate some of things there. Should be a fun game and I think we will win this football game.

Somehow I feel if the Rams get this win on Sunday they will win out the season. As good as the Filthy niners are I believe the Rams are better. And with the final game against the Cardinals at home we will make the playoffs. Then who knows.

What was a head scratcher to me Retro was that Blythe was actually pretty good at G when the staff put him into the lineup last yr along with Saffold. But hey if the shoe fit's wear that C hat like a champ.

Initially Blythe was pretty good at RG but in the second half of last year, his production, especially with pass protection and the blitz began to go into the toilet. In the snooperbowl, he got beat badly on several drives. When Allen was inserted after the departure of Sullivan, Blythe stayed at guard and the production this year didn't get any better. When Allen sucked really bad and Edwards was playing so well at LG, the move to Center was tried, after Allen went down and Blythe's production increased along with the O-line becoming stabilized.

Two other games to watch Sunday are Chicago vs Green Bay and Chargers vs Vikings. Bears or Chargers win Sunday + Rams win out = L.A. in the postseason.
