It's only natural that we pull for our boyz to win and both the Pack and Lions to lose, as in duh.

GB lost ALOT more than the game. Their season might be over with the injuries they sustained.

Two other injuries were also noted in their starting ol Zach Tom and starting safety Evan Williams.....

Not sure how serious they are,but we need to take advantage of this.

I never like to see any team get smacked with injuries, but after @Sam Squanch produced a chart a week or so back showing the Bears have been the most injured team in the NFL, I'll make no excuses for clubs getting racked by them.

It is what it is.....you can't stop injuries.
I never wish injuries on anyone,but after GB traded for Parsons,to hell with GB.

Especially after my buddy texted the Bears were running a backup qb offense.....

He is in my fantasy league,thought last night of changing my team name to Parson's RGIII Knee.
But I can't,what if that happened to CW....I would be equally sickened to my stomach.

Giving up a starting DT and more importantly their '26 & '27 1st round picks to land Parsons showed it really was an all-in trade for the Packers. And until the injury occurred, it looked like they were winning that trade, at least for the present. But now he's not only lost for the rest of this season, he may not even be ready at the start of next year's schedule. And not having those two 1st rounders the next couple of years is gonna hurt.

I mean...You're right now that the injury is in the books. But only injury could have made this trade work out poorly them. Parsons was as legit a player as you can get for two picks that will most likely end up in the 20s.

They always have our number though, so we might still lose to them Saturday. I'm tired of losing to the Packers. Their beating us at home without their best player would suck ass.

No matter how big the trade, there's never any guarantee of that...only the guarantee of a reasonable chance at it...which they certainly had with him playing.

You judge a trade by it's intent and then the failure or success of that intent.

The Packers trading for Parsons was a we are one play away from winning it all type of trade. If they fail to do that with him....the trade is a failure.

Even before the injury there was a case that the Packers were still a slight notch below the top contenders in the NFL this season.

Not to pile on but Watson also sustained a "chest" injury and did not play another snap yesterday.

Hope they all get better soon. Usual expectation on a torn ACL is a full year, so it would be at this time next season when Parson will be getting back into active practice, possible play time. Same for Mahomes.

The early report today is it wasn't any kind of IR type of injury, but they didn't say if he'd miss this week's game. My guess and that's all it is, but I suspect he'll be there on Saturday.

Granted they weren't trades but the Packers went all in for Reggie White and Charles Woodson and the argument can be made that both moves were instrumental in securing SB trophies.

I think prior to Parsons' injury, many people, including some Bears fans, thought acquiring him just might be the tipping point for the Pack to reach the Big Enchilada, and for while it was looking positive for your boyz. Parsons has more than a third of the team's sacks and 44% of QB pressures. That's a lot to lose. Then, when factoring in not having a 1st round pick for the next two years, it does put a damper on the final trade results. Doesn't mean the Packers can't reach the promised land without him, just that it will be a lot tougher now.

It was nice to see Colstand with the top offensive grade. Watching him as the season's progressed, I think he has the best hands on the team. And his blocking has been a pleasant surprise as well. Also nice to see Jonah Jackson's name there, who is the OL's unsung hero this season. And look who killed it on the D side of the ball and with the best overall grade, D'Marco Jackson. What a pickup!

As for the worst grades, I'm a bit surprised Joe Thuney and Kevin Byard made the respective lists. Just goes to show I don't have a friggin' clue how PFF formulates their grades.
