Full Disclosure: I'm just a bit too depressed to really care about this game.

Way too much interesting CFB tomorrow to spend time thinking about a game that really doesn't matter.

I suppose it is interesting that both teams have done a 180 from last year when Idaho pummeled GSU 37-12 in a game where the Panthers turned the ball over 6 times.

Seems pretty likely Georgia State gets their revenge tomorrow. After starting the season with a rough loss to FCS Tennessee State the Panthers have gone 6-3 and 5-2 in SBC play. They've been grinding out a lot of tough wins though and nothing about them particularly scares me.

What does scare me is Colton Richardson trotting out at QB again in front of the worst offensive line in the nation. NMSU tore the Vandal O-line apart last week for 11 sacks. Yeah. 11.

There is apparently a chance Matt comes back for this one, but I won't hold my breath. Might as well start Richardson here and see what he has since the season has already gone down the shitter.

Prediction:

Idaho 17
Georgia State 28

Colton Richardson.... what an imbred looking tub of goo. I’ve never seen a more unathletic qb in all my life. Do a fucking sit up.

Is that the “Hefty Lefty”? He could ball all while eating a Double Quarter Pounder.

3rd game this season where Duckworth finished with exactly 113yds rushing. Strangely interesting.

Welp... 4-8 was a huge disappointment. What a shame after such a promising '16 year. Guess we can start the clock for when Petrino packs his bags. Any guesses where he lands?

I don't think he's going anywhere. 4-8, 9-4, 4-8 the last three years isn't enough to land a HC job that pays more than Idaho, I'm pretty sure Paul will be the highest paid FCS coach in the nation. He's going to be here as long as he wants IMO.

That's the part that worries me. Obviously he isn't going to take a pay cut, but I believe if he finds a job of equal value then he will be gone. I don't think the step down to the FCS ever sat right with Petrino. IMO he deserves better.

Oh I totally agree that this was not what he signed on for and that he can't be completely happy with this. But I also don't think he wants to be coordinator again. He wants a HC job. Problem is FCS head coaches don't really get looked at for FBS HC jobs unless you're Craig Bohl and you win 3 straight titles. Even a highly successful guy in Beau Baldwin who was a top 3 FCS coach only landed a coordinator job at Cal. And yeah, it's way more money. But it's not a HC gig. And shit, making 400k or whatever it is he pulls in living in the Moscow/Pullman area ain't anything to scoff at.

I might have to make that my profile pic. Dude is going to finish his college football career undefeated as a starter in SBC play.
