fwiw, there was a five way tie for second place in the ACC. Duke had zero wins against ACC teams that finished with a winning conference record. Georgia Tech, Pitt, Miami and SMU all had at least one win against the top six. Duke is receiving credit for getting smashed by 7-1 UVa.
In this case, the ACC should be able to override their tiebreakers. At least the American was mostly clean, though we had a three-way tie for #1 and Navy was left out with schedule math over Tulane.

Couple things from last weekend I caught that were quite funny.

1. anyone catch the end of the PSU/Rutgers game? Reporter was interviewing interim coach Terry Smith on the field about the win. Smith had one of his assistants standing behind them on field during the interview holding a sign saying "PSU- hire Terry Smith!", the cameraman moved a couple times, but the sign guy adjusted making sure the cameraman saw the sign the whole time. lmao.

2. End of game interview on field with Sark after Texas upset the Aggies. Immediately Sark went into campaign mode in why the long horns clearly deserved to be in the playoffs. lol. one of his main points was that "they played OSU and only lost by 7. And we outgained them by 200 yards". 1. not true. they had 133 more yards. and 2. it was 14-0 OSU before Texas got a garbage time touchdown with 3 min. remaining in the game. OSU held texas scoreless for 3 3/4 quarters. not a great flex sark. but you keep campaigning...... :pop2: :dhd:
