They already beat Duke by 3 Touchdowns when it was fairly officiated on Duke's home field

Not a chance Duke gets even a sniff of fair officiating this time. It will be the single most rigged officiating game of all time in history.

UVA doesnt need it, as they are a lot better....but it will be laughable...

That is absolutely ridiculous. Virginia (10-2, 7-1) won the ACC regular season outright. That should be the end of it. No need for a CCG...and how in the hell did Duke get the nod? Plus, Virginia beat Duke two weeks ago 34-17. I hate conference championship games.

Didn't see the Defending The M until last night. That's ******* pathetic. I'm all for flag planting, but as soon as you lose (especially handily like they did yesterday), you've lost that right to defend it IMO. OSU had every right to plant at midfield and they didn't. Gotta give Day credit, he's done a great job staying composed. Hopefully Moore and Co. can learn from that.

They use common opponent W/L record in those tiebreaker scenarios.

I wish they would go back to divisions within the conferences to decide this. The conferences are too bloated for everyone to play each other.

The problem with divisions is the lopsided results. In 2008, in the Big XII, there was Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech...all were (11-1, 7-1) in the same division. OU got the nod and played Missouri (9-3, 5-3). OU won 62-21.

We all know there's too many teams in these conferences. College football needs an enema.

fwiw, there was a five way tie for second place in the ACC. Duke had zero wins against ACC teams that finished with a winning conference record. Georgia Tech, Pitt, Miami and SMU all had at least one win against the top six. Duke is receiving credit for getting smashed by 7-1 UVa.
