I don’t say this… So I will. Caleb has had a good 2nd half.

(Exhale)

There, I did it.

Anyhoo. Here’s a nifty idea. Instead of throwing to the outside and running up the middle CONSTANTLY. Try running to the outsand throwing over the middle perhaps?

Still in first. It’d be nice if we kept it up for another week.

Big-time win.

Can we have a two-weeks post midseason MVPs, cuz Nashon Wright and Montez Sweat are climbing the charts? Absolutely incredible what the depth has done this year. Nashon's length is impressive. Back-to-back games with HUGE highlight reel INTs. Sweat has quietly had a great 4/5 weeks or so.

The LBs were getting worked early on with the gimmicky bullshit, but they settled in and played respectively.

How about Ozzy fucking Trapilo? Never heard his name called once today. That's a great thing. I honestly didn't notice if Jonah Jackson ever came back or not, and I didn't notice them mention it either, but if he didn't, me not noticing is another good thing too.

I'm just so grateful we didn't lose to Freddie fucking Mercury.

Another wacky dub by our boyz. And as always, there was good, bad, and ugly situations in this game.

The Good:
The Bears gutted out a win despite half of our D in the infirmary. It was a game of wills and we willed out.
Our coaching staff made better half time adjustments than the Steelers.
While both teams had two turnovers, the ones we pulled on the Steelers resulted in 14 points.
Probably our best red zone performance this season.
Some nice receptions by our receivers, often despite some bad passes by Caleb.

The Bad:
Our run D, especially in the 1st half, was gawd awful. It tightened up a bit in the back half, but overall it wasn't a pretty sight today.
Penalties, penalties, penalties, especially the PIs.
That fake tush push resulting in a TD could have been a game killer. Allen needs to do a better job of anticipating this.

The Ugly:
Caleb's ridiculous fumble in the end zone, resulting in a Steeler's TD, was his worst play of the season.

Game balls:
On offense, I'm giving it to the receivers to share.
On defense, Montez Sweat and Nahshon Wright
