I am not sure what is going to be accomplished over the bye-week other than to get healed-up and healthy and to get both Miller and OBJ more acclimated to the defense and offense respectively. Other than that, it will probably be business as usual and we will see if the Rams can find a win facing the Packers in frozen land. Unless these Rams change things, we will be 7-4 after the Packers game.

Here is yet another sports pundit who understands what is going on with Shit-fer-Brains and is ever-increasing exposure to being a HC with little or no common sense.

Yea, this article just about covers it. This HC and this DC have got to be some of the dumbest coaches in this NFL. We know Shit-fer-Brains' inability to see trends a given game is giving him but Morris is just as insane and stupid to be using a shut-down corner in the manner he is using Ramsey and then he fails to make adjustments to a run-centric team that basically was going to run the ball all night long anyways. What the hell are the coaches in the booth looking at during a game? And what does this team do all week long in practice if receivers are dropping passes at an unbelievable rate and the DC can't make adjustments to his defense during a game? Man does this team miss a guy like Robert Woods!!

And what we all now know is this HC doesn't have a clue how to fix this mess when it is right in front of him.

The defense is struggling. If they can't get better fast the Rams will be 7-5 in three weeks. I heard Donald's name mentioned twice during last nights game. He and Floyd could not have played worse and what has gone wrong with the 0-line? from best to worst in just two weeks.
The ST coach and Morris are one and done at the end of this season.

And what kind of idiot calls for a fake FG down by 7 points in the first half?

I am quite certain that the reason things have gone down the shitter so fast is players are now seeing the futility of playing for this HC, the DC, and some of the coaches when changes are promised and then nothing happens.

With the O-line: Predictability in the offensive play-calling and aging creeping in. It is difficult to get stoked to complete blocking assignments on a given play when the Center is the problem. Getting called for two false starts in as many weeks and then has the highest ratings in all of the negative categories along with everyone watching a team deliberately by-pass great draft talent at the position for a midget doesn't provide alot of solid support for guys busting their humps for a QB who has thrown 4 INTs all of a sudden.

On the D: The players recognize stupidity in the DC. We have discussed this ad nauseum but the players all recognize when they are being used in the wrong fashion and no adjustments are made to get better. Lends support to the idea of a quiet and internal mutiny of sorts. Some of the play on the defensive line last night made little sense and surely the secondary looked lost.

Other factors: Lack of discipline, multiple mistakes, bad habits, dropping passes at an alarming rate, ridiculous INTs, failure to stick with a decent and successful running game. Etc., etc.

All of this points to a disaster in the making and I would not be surprised if this leads to a complete collapse starting in Green bay.

It's not surprising if we finished 9-8 and miss the playoffs.

Reminder Tampa was 7-5 before winning the Super Bowl, nobody has a clue what's going to happen. We just assume.

Well according to Freakin' Tommy, there is a reason teams don't win the SB or win it back-to-back. It is simple. Winning in the NFL is hard. In the Rams case, winning is talked about alot and then it is thrown aside by utter stupidity! Last time we won a snooperbowl was 22 years ago. Brady has seven of them. So he must know.

I have been screaming this all-season and before and Shit-Fer-Brains has the personnel to run the Jumbo offense and play smashmouth football on both offense and defense. Now others are joining the chorus. The two teams in the most recent losses beat the Rams by playing smashmouth football. McVay and the offense call their version of the Jumbo, the two-TE or 12-man personnel set and they have the personnel on offense and defense to play this type of football.

Shit-Fer-Brains can still run his passes but this article suggests the Rams have smashmouth players on offense and defense who like to play this type of game. You fight fire-with-bigger-stronger fire and the Rams need to put Michel and Buddy Howell in on the running game and use the Jumbo more often when the offense is in there. It will take the pressure off of Stafford early on to have to get Beckham the ball, as Aikman has stupidly suggested recently. Buddy Howell and Michel are big backs especially Howell.

On defense, Bobby Brown has moved up to fifth in the D-line rotation. He is a bigger version of Brockers at 6'5 325lbs and he is faster than Brockers. Another smashmouth player is LB Jamir Jones. At 6'3 260lbs. He blocked a punt against the Seahags and he plays inside LB. I believe the Rams will return to a base defense of a 4-3 with adaptable, flexible versions of it to bring a bigger stick to that side of the ball. I think the 3-4 and all of its gyrations is dying again. Testament to this is the defense the Titans run. The base is essentially a 4-3 that beats you to death. They disguise it well as a 3-4 but look closely and you'll see the 46 D which is basically a 4-3 Defense.

So this article is a good read and I firmly believe the Rams can run the table if they switch to this approach. If Shit-Fer-Brains starts wondering back to his pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, mentality, then he will be to blame for future failures at getting anywhere in the post-season.

Just got done watching tape on the Titans game and when the Rams ran a variation of the 4-3 Defense with at least 4-down lineman, they were very devastating. Ramsey had his INT with that defensive set.

When the Titans ran the Jumbo, they killed us both in running and in passing. Shit-Fer-Brains is going to have adapt or die and right now, his habits are leading him and this team to death.

I have been screaming since the last draft to take Creed Humphery or even Quinn Meinerz in the second round. But nooooo Shit-Fer-Brains and Snead ignored what everyone else said and took a midget WR that is on IR. Now they have a problem they created and can't fix.
