On a side note the Hawks only threw the ball 23 times and ran it 26 times, this is the right fomula and they just need the defense to stop people before they run 11 plays. The JSN turnover was HUGE also making the Hawks 2 turnovers removing at the very least 6 points if not more.

To be honest i think the Milroe run early defleated a good drive and those 2 turnovers. This could have been a 17 point victory if they just hold onto the ball and not get cute.

49rs are a good team, Seattle could have won this but didn’t, it’s week 1, lots of football left… It’s hard to say where they’re gonna be this year, once we get to about week 8 we’ll know more …
The 49ers wouldn't have beat very many teams today with the game they just played. Seattle is bad enough to be one of them.

Mixing in that draw play late while Darnold was getting in rhythm was stupid. 49ers got to set their feet a little bit. We signed Sam for a pretty big load of money. In that situation you let him win or lose the game. That's what I can't ******* stand.

The thing that's infuriating about this loss is that the two biggest plays should have been routine incompletions if the coverage didn't have its head up its ass. Just do your job and bat the ball down. You decided you weren't a WR a long time ago.

Ball deflection off of the back leg of a lineman bouncing right to a defender was the last straw, but there were issues all over.

Having said that, in no way does this foretell off how the whole season will go.

New offense and the way preseason goes your starters get nearly zero game time to see how things are working.

If the sputtering turns into a trend over the next 2 to 3 games I'll consider projecting.

Can't after this one though.

Either or man. That big gain you just got to stick to the ******* receiver that you were blanketing and keep ******* blanketing him. That ball had no business ending up being completed. Just a brain fart there.

The defense played solid and Darnold made some great decisions late. Obviously a lot of new faces working together for the first time on offense. It sucks losing but I'm not going to take too much away from this. Stupid mistakes cost us the game.

Stupid mistakes?

We scored 13 points with 4 fuckin' favorable turnovers (2 special team blocked kicks) while having our supposed star runningback run for 2.0 YPC. Mistakes!? How about we just sucked? We had a +3 turnover differential until Sam coughed it up at the end... AND playing at home.

How we actually lost this game will probably go down as a study in "How to suck" in NFL history documentaries.

Seattle will be lucky to get 5 wins this year. Guess we're in the Archie sweepstakes.

As bad as the outcome was there is some good. Yeah it sucks to lose the first game but hey they are not the ONLY team to lose this weekend lol. The defense forced turnovers and even though they were on the field all day long they held the 49ers to 17 and that very easily could have been held to 10 with 3 INT's. The running game wasn't that great Neither Zack or Kenny had a 4.0 yards per carry average. Sam didn't throw a Redzone INT LOL if Geno was here that drive ends in a Redzone Turnover also but it's a INT. You all know it to be true.

To have a 4 to 1 turnover ratio and still be down by 4 points, while Woolen is getting beaten by the same crap he did last year, and K9 is looking like he's mailed it in all offseason, yah no.

That was embarrassing. At home of all things. And with their #1 WR and #1 TE out super early.. Hell even Warner got banged up. Wtf?

Eh all said, I guess I got a little too excited. This is a 6 win football team. Vegas 100% had the correct call. Guess you can't mess with success.

There's a lot of new faces on offense. How bad of a loss it is will show later. Maybe Purdy is mediocre. Maybe McCaffery is washed. If they aren't and they start pounding teams then we have a ******* solid defense that only gave up a late drive because they shit the bed. There's a lot of positive that happened today.

D isn't without things to work on by any means. Several busted coverages that lead to big plays, too many penalties from the secondary/coverage, Woolen with a pair of bad plays late, The loss of Emmenwari early was bad and hopefully he's just got a short-term ankle issue and comes back next week.

The offense was BAD most of the game, but showed some flashes. They are building up video they can work off of. That whole largest improvement comes from week 1 to week 2.

I'll give them a chance to see how the coaches adjust and how the players respond.

I'll make you a bet, the Hawks will win 8+ games this season and if they do you leave forever. If you are to scared to take that bet then stop the BS negative crap you spit out EVERY game, win or lose. It's ok to be upset but you CONSTANTLY spit out BS all game long and it is meddening.

My Dad was with me at my home today to watch the game and his words were " That guy is not a Seahawks fan, a fan wouldn't ever talk like that"

If you click on his name and click on ignore you'll never see any of his posts again. I highly recommend that for any poster that gets to the point where they bother you that badly. Will make it a more enjoyable place without asking any leopards to change their spots.

Jeez man, I kind of overreact like this in a lot of separate forums on this site. Didn't know it bothered you that much.

That said, to be a bit more on a serious tone I would like to see K9 played less (I held this stance last season) and I think Woolen might be on borrowed time here (this was also a popular opinion on this board last year). Yes I'm being a bit overdramatic but, so?

Leave forever. Your Dad "This guy is not a Seahawks fan." lol.... alright pal. Just ignore me and then you wont have to deal with me going forward, I dunno what to say. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
