Yeah, Houston needs to beat LSU. Can't afford a slip up, because the committee has taken an odd stance against AAC bubble teams in the past few years.

Agreed, I don't think LSU is a tournament team, but getting a true road win against a P5 school could qualify as a quadrant 2 win when it's all said and done. And the AAC has what I would say a mixed bag of results this OOC.

LSU may be an improved team this year, and because of that, this loss could be very costly come March. LSU now has wins over Houston and Michigan. Only losses are to ND and Marquette on a neutral, so no shame in that. Should enter SEC play 10-2. If they can somehow finish conference play at .500, I think an at-large bid is in play. Obviously much easier said then done, in the much improved SEC.

Boise State manages to beat Grand Canyon. Say what you will, that is a huge win they could not afford to let that slip.

Took quite the last moment shot and two overtimes to pull it off, but at least we won which beats the alternative...had we lost that one our At-Large hopes would almost be gone, and beating SMU on the road would have been a requirement....that would have been a very bad situation to be in

I also think Grand Canyon has the potential to win the WAC this year, or get 2nd, which should end up being a top 100 win.

Hmmm didn't realize that, hopefully they do win the Wac then, we could use an extra bonus from this one
