What’s funny is i quoted a take from Nick Ferguson this morning which I agreed with.

He said Shanahan and parcel would handle the Harris on field situation like
I quoted. Two coaches/GMs he played for.

What's funnier is that you actually didn't quote him. You stated it as if it was your original idea.

With the discount Chris has given over the years, as well as working within the system to get a raise he has proven he deserves, the front office did the right thing.

The only 'rumor' I am hearing that makes sense is that Fangio's D uses zone skills a lot more than man skills, and so CHJ may not be as integral to our success as we think. Couple that with a recent injury and the FO is taking a wait-and-see approach.

I think Harris fits very well in both schemes but as I said before I get the wait and see with a new staff when forking that much money over.

His broken leg injury is not a concern. That healed well. He played in the Pro Bowl and would have been good to stay off IR had we made the playoffs. Didn’t put him on IR until after we were officially out.
