That's pretty bad. But the M's have struck out 41 times in the first 4 games. I mean the Yankees are the Yankees so as bad as that # sounds you can think 'well yeah, but it's the yankees so they got hot and lucky at the same time'. The M's did that against the homeless A's.

Nah, there's no comparison here, as the A's actually did spend money this offseason to get players like Severino and Springs. The Brewers have the worst run differential over the first 4 regular season games of any team since 1894, among numerous other low water marks.

Fair enough. I'm just not optimistic with this franchise after a couple of decades of abuse.
