Taking their likely asking price into consideration, who would you rather your favorite team trade for, DeShaun Watson or Matthew Stafford?
Looks like 3, 1st rounders with one being a top 10 pick this year is the asking price.
Jets and Dolphins both have a lot of draft capital where they can trade for Watson and still build through the draft. Outside of them, I say teams will be cutting off their nose to spite their face, giving up that much.if the Jets can get away with the #2 overall and their next 2 first rounders, I think I’d do that if I were them
they have another first rounder this year and a load of 2nd and 3rds, and Darnald will prob net them a 3rd or 4th
with the cap space they have, they can build something pretty quick
Is Watson going to settle down and play football, or is he going to continue to think that a young 20-something deserves to choose the coaches, control draft picks and maybe even call plays?I reflected on this one because Watson being younger and more mobile is advantageous, but Stafford also plays well and his demeanor has more leadership qualities imo.

Better than anyone in the Jets organization, maybe, but most teams have serious, mature football people whose job it is to make decisions.
"He's basically the same player as Sam Bradford."I reflected on this one because Watson being younger and more mobile is advantageous, but Stafford also plays well and his demeanor has more leadership qualities imo.
Or management traded away his #1 WR and lied to him about taking his opinion into consideration for the new GM and HC.Taters for me.
1)The draft ransom it will take to get him isn't worth it
2)He choked away a 24 point lead against the Chiefs
3)If 156 million dollars isn't enough to at least work with the people he's got, he just might have an attitude problem.
No chance the Lions trade Stafford to the Bears.Clearly Watson would be the choice but the price will be high.
Now, if you are a team that is solid, except at QB, Stafford might be a lower cost choice. Think playoff teams like the Saints, Colts, Redskins or Bears. Once they get healthy, the 49ers fall into that category. I think the Rams could be a lot better with Stafford.
He's 32 years old, you trade him to whoever gives you the better return. No chance the Lions trade Stafford to the Bears.
They both play in the NFC North.
BS. They aren't trading him to Chicago. He's 32 years old, you trade him to whoever gives you the better return.
