See what they might want for him if their asking price isn't too high

As a Penn State fan I love Allen Robinson but he would cost a good chunk of change.

Would he be worth a 3rd? If available for said 3rd, would you pay him top dollar to be our #2 after seasons end?

I see his salary is up after this year so I would not give very much up at all in the way of a draft pick. Certainly not a third for what might be a rental. He made $14 million this year. (yearly average) So much depends on the salary cap next year. It could go down by $30 million or more if I heard right.

Alex Smith's cap hit next year is $24.4 million with a dead cap hit of $10.8 million. I would be willing to cut Smith and use the $14 million you saved for Robinson. He'll only be 28 next year.

Smith is a feel good story for his terrible injury and stunning comeback but $51 million is plenty fair for a guy who hasn't played in three years ...

No way I’d trade a third rounder for him.

the WFT would be better off drafting a player at that pick that could contribute, or seeing what it has with AGG, Sims, etc.
