I liked the way this all star game was done, besides it was practicall east v. west anyways. 2/3 of the west players were on team lidstrom and 2/3 of the east players were on team staal.

i like the picking a lot better.. most of the 'headlines' were surrounded on who picked who.. the more headlines the better.

i like an idea Ray Ferraro had he said have a mini tournament for the ASG. you pick the best players from each division enough to have a 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 tournament for all divisions but I say add in a cash prize for the charity of choice of the top 3 teams.

still have non contact rules just so it doesnt get anyone injured but at least it would give some more intensity to it. but that might be too much in the middle of the year.
